Job summary

Coton Grange Residential Home in Wolverhampton is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join RDCP Care Limited's team. You will help maintain high cleanliness and hygiene to create a safe, comfortable living environment for residents.

Hours are 10-15 per week, 09:00–14:00, at £12.71 per hour. DBS checks and references are required; visa sponsorship is not available. Benefits include on-site parking, a contributory pension and a refer a friend bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care settings preferred.
• DBS checks required for all positions.

Job description

We are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join our team at Coton Grange Residential Home. Coton Grange provides specialist residential dementia care to up to 27 people.

Rate of pay: £12.71

Hours: 10-15 hours per week between 09:00-14:00

We are unable to offer visa sponsorship. If applicable, please note your current visa type and right to work status in the UK.

Responsibilities: As a Domestic Assistant, you will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment.

Further responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Adhere to the home’s cleaning schedules
• Provide deep cleaning and preparation of bedrooms as required
• Manage cleaning supplies and notify the Home Manager or appropriate person when new supplies are required.
• Ensure the appropriate agent is used for each area to be cleaned
• Adhere to health and safety, and infection control policies and ensure cleaning is in line with recommendations. Adhere to the Care Centre’s disposal of waste and COSHH policies.

You will be joining a supportive team who are focused on providing the highest level of person-centred care. Alongside this we offer the following:
