A regional healthcare provider in Rochdale is looking for a Domestic Assistant to maintain high cleaning standards in wards and public areas. You will work 15 hours a week, as part of a supportive team, and training will be provided. Ideal candidates should have good communication skills and physical fitness for performing cleaning duties effectively. As a Domestic Assistant you will be responsible for keeping wards, offices, and public areas clean to a high standard. You will work as part of the domestic service team, as well as part of the wider community within the hospital setting. Working Hours: 15 hours Monday - Friday with a consistent shift pattern. Entry Requirements: There is no entry requirement to become a domestic assistant, however you may be required to complete NVQ Level 1 in cleaning. Training: When you start as a domestic you will attend an induction and all relevant training will be given. Communication Skills: You will need good communication skills as well as a caring and sensitive nature. Physical Fitness: A physical component to working as a domestic assistant as you may be on your feet for long periods of time. A combination of physical fitness and knowledge of proper lifting and manual handling techniques allows you to properly perform the full range of your duties.
