Job summary

Exemplar Health Care, at Scotia Heights in Stoke-on-Trent, is looking for a Domestic Assistant on a bank basis. You will be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and staff. Training and induction are provided.

The role involves daily and weekly cleaning routines, occasional ad-hoc duties, and collaboration with the Domestic Team to uphold dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic cleaning preferred but not essential.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines across the home.
• Clean bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, offices and other designated areas.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
• Assist with laundry as required and report faults or hazards.
• Provide a welcoming, hygienic environment for residents and staff.
