Responsibilities

• Clean external areas across the trust.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Follow colour-coding principles and use cleaning machinery safely.
• Carry out hoovering, dusting and mopping; deep clean floors.
• Work flexibly across different areas daily.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in line with Trust values.

Job description

Domestic Assistant post at Broadgreen Hospital, based in the domestic services department of Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The work centres on cleaning and preparing patient areas such as wards, clinics, theatres and bedded areas, plus public and external spaces across the trust, to national standards and infection control rules. The role is part-time, covering early mornings and early evenings Monday to Friday, with staff moved between areas day to day. Previous domestic experience is required, along with availability for the set hours.
