Leeds & York Partnership NHS Trust are seeking to recruit a Domestic Assistant on a part‑time basis to join our Facilities team providing five‑star cleaning services at Clifton House. The Facilities department is progressive and forward‑thinking, looking for a self‑motivated Domestic Assistant.
You will join a domestic team ensuring a clean environment in line with the cleaning standards for our service users, colleagues and visitors. Work 5 days a week, including some bank holidays. Hours vary between 07:00 and 19:00 according to rota.
Two positions are available at our York site, Clifton House: one 20 hours per week, the other 17.5 hours per week.

The post holder provides a high standard of domestic service to patients, staff and visitors within clinical and non‑clinical departments, alone or as part of a team.
The Soft FM service is part of the wider Estates and Facilities Directorate. The Domestic Assistant works as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering a high standard of cleaning in high‑activity areas with frequent change. Staff must be flexible, adaptable and supportive of other staff who have clinical responsibility for service users.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and therefore requires a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
