Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an everyday cleaner to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors at our Winchester sites. The role involves routine general cleaning across clinical and non-clinical areas and will contribute to reducing the spread of infections.

Responsibilities include high dusting, damp dusting, vacuuming, deep cleaning of areas and equipment, and serving patient beverages.

Job description

Domestic staff provide a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff and visitors and help to reduce the spread of Health Care Acquired Infections. This role will involve general cleaning in both clinical and non-clinical areas.

Duties Will Include

• High dusting walls, ceilings, curtains rails, doors
• Damp dusting furniture, fittings, ledges and paintwork
• Vacuuming floors daily
• Deep Cleaning of areas and equipment
• Serving patient beverages

• We provide enhanced hours for Saturdays and Sundays as well as enhanced pay for bank holidays.
