A leading healthcare provider in Weymouth is seeking a Cleaner to ensure a high standard of cleanliness at Westhaven Hospital. You will work 10 hours a week, primarily evenings, and be part of a team responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas. The role offers NHS benefits, including a pension scheme and annual leave. Ideal for individuals with good communication skills and a flexible approach. Training and equipment are provided.
Hours: 10 hours a week, Monday to Friday (evenings times to be agreed). Additional hours may be available to cover staff absence.
Position: Cleaner responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in clinical and non‑clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Full on‑site training and PPE included.
Employment requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (cost covered by the Trust). DBS update service subscribers may present a valid DBS certificate.
Part of the Facilities & Estates Service; this role may transfer to an NHS wholly owned subsidiary from November 2025 or later. NHS Agenda for Change terms, NHS pensions, and related benefits continue for all staff, including new recruits.
