Job summary

Renaissance Care in Uddingston is seeking a Temporary Domestic Assistant to join Rosepark Care Home for 24 hours per week. You will maintain the highest cleanliness standards across communal areas and residents’ bedrooms, including en-suites, toilets, baths and basins, following the management schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic or support roles preferred.
• Able to follow hygiene and safety procedures.
• Respect residents' dignity and privacy; maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas and residents' bedrooms.
• Clean en-suites, public toilets, baths and basins daily according to the cleaning schedule.
• Follow management guidelines on COSHH, infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team, while remaining capable of autonomous work.

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care.

We are seeking an experienced Temporary Domestic Assistant to join our team in Rosepark Care Home for 24 hours per week.

As a domestic assistant in one of our homes, your main responsibilities are to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in the home, ensuring communal areas and our residents' bedrooms are clean and tidy. Your duties will include cleaning en-suites, public toilets, baths and hand basins are cleaned daily as per the cleaning schedule provided by management.

You will, preferably, have previous experience in a similar role or sector and be able to demonstrate an understanding of COSHH, HACCP and infection control procedures. You will be able to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team as well as having the confidence to work autonomously. You will have a strong attention to detail and know how to be respectful of our residents' dignity and privacy, ensuring our residents' right to confidentiality is maintained at all times.
