A national health service provider seeks a Domestic Assistant for Biggart Hospital in Prestwick. This part-time role (20 hours/week) involves delivering essential cleaning services in a healthcare environment, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and possess good communication skills, although prior experience in healthcare is not mandatory. Training will be provided for all necessary skills.

To provide a wide and varied range of Domestic Services which support Clinical Services throughout Ayrshire and Arran in line with NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification to fulfil Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards and meet Facilities Monitoring Tool Targets. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.
