Job summary

Hereford County Hospital is seeking a Domestic Cleaner to join Sodexo's team. In this vital role, you'll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Your work directly supports health and wellbeing throughout the hospital, and you should take pride in delivering reliable, high‑quality service. You'll be responsible for cleaning patient rooms, wards, and communal spaces, stripping and cleaning beds and linen, cleaning surfaces, and managing waste in

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces and restrooms.
• Strip and clean beds and manage used linen for processing.
• Clean surfaces (desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, walls) to maintain hygiene.
• Perform daily tasks: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and replenishing supplies.
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse per hospital protocols.
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors.
