Job summary

Exemplar Health Care’s Wytham Lodge in Padiham, Burnley, is hiring a Domestic Assistant to join a brand new team in a purpose built home. You’ll help maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas, supporting a welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You’ll perform daily and weekly cleaning, dusting, mopping, polishing and vacuuming, plus laundry tasks as needed. No prior care sector experience is required; we provide induction, buddy support and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Relevant cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Keen eye for detail and pride in high standards.
• Excellent team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines across the home.
• Clean bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms and offices.
• Assist with washing and drying laundry as required.
• Report breakages, damage, defects and hazards.
