A youth support organization in Newport is seeking a key worker to empower young people. You will engage with them to foster independence and create supportive plans while collaborating with local agencies. Ideal candidates have experience in support work and a full UK driving licence. The role involves building strong relationships and addressing challenges faced by young individuals.
A service that is about much more than offering young people a roof over their head. It's about giving them a safe and inclusive home and help to achieve their potential, transition into independent living, and engage in employment or education.
You’ll act as a key worker to motivate and empower young people to gain independence and reach their full potential.
You’ll create support plans and help young people achieve their goals and independence, working collaboratively as part of a team who embrace differences.
Further enhance your relationship building and partnership working skills, by promoting your services and working closely with relevant local agencies such as the local authority, specialist charities, education and training providers, probation, social services, and housing provisions etc.
