A leading support organization is seeking a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker to provide essential support to individuals affected by domestic abuse in North Surrey. This role involves conducting risk assessments, advocating for services, and delivering outreach support. The ideal candidate should possess strong advocacy skills and a commitment to safeguarding and diversity. A full driving licence is required for this position.
Job Title: Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker / IDVA
Location: North Surrey
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 FTE (depending on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: 1 year FTC
Reports to: CEO
Are you passionate about empowering individuals affected by domestic abuse? We are seeking a committed and empathetic Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker (IDVA) to join our team and provide vital support services to those in need across North Surrey.
In this proactive and rewarding role, you will offer both emotional and practical support, conduct risk assessments, assist with safety planning, and advocate for clients to access essential services. You will also work closely with partner agencies to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding and support.
You are an effective communicator, able to listen with sensitivity and advocate confidently on behalf of clients. You should have a solid understanding of safeguarding, experience in supporting vulnerable individuals, and the ability to manage a complex caseload. A flexible and collaborative approach is essential.

This role also requires a car driver due to travel responsibilities.
