Domain Enterprise Architect (London – Hybrid)

We're partnering with a highly regulated organisation undergoing significant technology, operating model, and business transformation.

As part of this journey, they are seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to provide strategic architectural leadership across critical corporate functions, with particular focus on Finance and Risk, alongside broader Corporate Services domains.

This is a high-profile role offering the opportunity to influence business strategy, technology direction, investment decisions, and long-term capability planning across some of the organisation's most important business areas.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of Enterprise Architecture, Business Strategy, and Corporate Services. We're not looking for a Solution Architect or delivery-focused transformation lead.

We're seeking a senior Enterprise Architect who can:

• Translate business strategy into actionable architecture roadmaps


• Influence senior executives and business leaders


• Shape investment priorities and technology direction


• Simplify complex application and technology landscapes


• Balance governance, risk, cost, and innovation


• Operate confidently across both business and technology functions

You’ll provide architectural leadership across corporate domains that support the effective operation of a large, complex, and highly regulated organisation.

• Define and champion enterprise architecture principles, standards, and governance

• Manage technical debt and target-state alignment


• Support major initiatives through architecture leadership and design governance


• Collaborate closely with Data, Security, Platform, and Business Architecture teams


• Ensure technology decisions deliver measurable business outcomes and long-term value

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Enterprise Architecture experience within complex organisations


• Strong understanding of Finance and/or Risk domains


• Experience working within regulated environments


• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive leaders


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills


• Experience shaping technology strategy, operating models, and investment decisions

Highly Desirable

• Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, Investment Management, or other regulated sector experience


• Experience supporting Finance, Treasury, Risk, Regulatory, or Actuarial functions


• TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework experience
