Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Business Domain Architect within Customer to own the target architecture for the domain, covering Loyalty, CRM, personalization, online platforms, fulfilment and store estate operations.

You will lead a small team, drive a 1–3 year strategic roadmap, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and total cost of ownership. The role focuses on fulfilment, reverser logistics, and post-purchase support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in delivering large-scale digital transformation in Agile environments.
• Deep expertise in modern architectural patterns, integration, platforms and emerging tech.
• Strong enterprise mindset with governance, risk, compliance and TCO optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Own Architecture vision and roadmaps for a Business Domain.
• Lead domain-wide architecture delivery and governance aligned to standards.
• Influence technology and vendor strategy to drive cost and capability improvements.
• Mentor architects and engineers, building a collaborative architecture community.
• Translate strategy into executable plans with stakeholders across teams.
