Dogwood Newbury Pet Grooming Spa in Newbury is seeking a Trainee Stylist to join our family-run salon covering Newbury and Thatcham. This full-time, 40-hour week offers hands-on training to develop grooming skills while delivering high standard customer service.

You will assist senior stylists, manage bookings, support sales, and help maintain our spa presentation. A genuine interest in dogs, teamwork, and a drive to learn are essential; we provide the industry-leading training program and

Full Time - working 40 hours over 5 days a week.

We are looking for experienced, customer focused, friendly trainees who have a genuine enthusiasm for pets to join our salons.

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Stylist within our Dogwood salon covering between Newbury and Thatcham.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Stylist:

• Demonstrating a hands-on approach to train to Dogwoods high standards.
• Supporting your stylist in preparing the dogs ready for their groom.
• Responsible for the sales performance of the salon.
• Booking and managing appointments.
• Delivering high standards of customer service.
• Going ‘the extra mile’ for every customer
• Ensuring first class spa presentation by our high level of housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
• Completing a Grooming portfolio to track your training and progress.
