Job summary

A leading construction firm in Inverness is seeking a Document Controller to oversee project documentation and ensure adherence to policies. You will support project meetings, manage design information approvals, and maintain project records. The ideal candidate will have previous office administration experience, strong IT skills, and preferably knowledge of Common Data Environment Systems. Your new role
What you’ll do
  • Attend project specific meetings as required and support the production of meeting records.
  • Initiate and control the review and approval processes of design information, on the projects online Common Data Environment, in line with Robertson Information Management processes and procedures, identifying bottlenecks and problem solving with the project and wider supporting teams.
  • Efficiently monitor and document control project records and correspondence in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the project team with the Considerate Constructors Scheme, including site visits.
  • Co-ordinate the compilation of project handover documentation in line with Roberton procedures and Client requirements.
  • General administration duties for projects as required.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover for other project document controllers.
What you’ll need:
  • Previous administration experience within a busy office or site environment.
  • Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work unsupervised whilst maintaining a high level of work and good attention to detail.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in working with Common Data Environment Systems in a document controller capacity (Autodesk, Asite, Viewpoint etc) is desirable.
