  • Document Controller with 4+ years of project experience.
  • Highly skilled in managing documentation workflows on EDMS systems.
  • Experience working on-site in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workflow of documentation.
  • QA manage documentation and communication.
  • Prepare, organize, and file information both digitally and on paper.
  • Provide regular training on EDMS systems.
  • Attend site meetings and drive documentation flow.

Job description

A leading main contractor is looking for a Document Controller with 4 Projects experience to join them.

This is a short term freelance position based in Central London which could lead into a longer term permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Typing up letters and reports
  • Printing and photocopying
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Manage workflow of documentation on EDMS systems
  • QA manage all incoming and outgoing documentation and communicationDistribution of documents to relevant managers / project teams
  • Editing and amending documents for accuracy and compliance of client procedures
  • Creating reports and trackers on all communication of the project
  • Providing regular training on EDMS systems to internal and external staff
  • Drive and manage all documentation and the flow of information making sure
  • deadlines are met through the project EDMS
  • QA managing all documentation and communication
  • Attend site meetings
  • Preparing, organising and filing information in paper and digital form
The ideal candidate will have
  • Experience with Viewpoint / 4Projects system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
  • The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
  • Experience in the Construction industry / working on-site
