Job summary

Pharmaron in the United Kingdom offers an Undergraduate Industrial Placement in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) for 12 months starting in summer 2025. You will work with a supervisor to plan experiments and support in vitro and in vivo studies.

You will receive hands-on training to perform in vitro assays or use LC-MS systems, process results, and learn how data informs future compound design. You will work in state-of-the-art laboratories and contribute to R&D projects that advance

Qualifications

• Studying towards an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacology related discipline.
• Predicted 1st or 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
• Strong teamwork skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organised and confident to work independently

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out experiments to support in vitro and/or in vivo studies.
• Learn and perform in vitro assays or use LC-MS systems to develop bioanalytical methods.
• Interpret and report results; contribute to future compound design based on data.
• Work in state-of-the-art laboratories and contribute to exciting R&D projects that impact human health
