University of Sheffield invites an ambitious early-career Materials Engineer or Scientist to lead defence-focused research in Materials 4.0 and Digital Twinning, connecting academics, government scientists and industry partners to strengthen UK capability.

Focusing on metallic aerospace materials, the role supports the Defence Materials Centre of Excellence as a DMEx Innovation Fellow (Grade 8, full-time), with a competitive salary and generous leave.

Qualificações
