Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a DL Kids Coach in Colchester to run games, sports and art sessions for members aged 3–12. You will contribute to after-school and weekend programs and holiday camps, creating a fun and inclusive environment while ensuring safety and engagement.

Applicants should be 17 or older and actively pursuing a childcare/teaching/coaching qualification, with prior relevant experience and a passion for working with children.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 or over and working towards a childcare/teaching/coaching qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar environment.
• Genuine passion for engaging individuals and children.

Responsibilities

• Host a variety of games, sporting activities and art sessions for members aged 3–12.
• Support holiday club programmes during school holidays and sport camps.
• Lead activities after school and at weekends with energy and safety in mind.

Location: Colchester, Essex - GBP

As a qualified DL Kids Coach, you will host a variety of games, sporting activities, and art sessions with our members aged between 3 and 12, both after school and at weekends. Our holiday club programmes run during school holidays and are a fantastic sport camps for our younger members to have fun and explore their physical sides.

Hours will vary but will be upwards of 8 hours per week as a minimum.
