Job summary

The Royal College of Psychiatrists is seeking a Divisions Events Manager on a maternity cover basis. The role is based in London with a hybrid working pattern and offers a salary between £45,814 and £51,591 per year, plus benefits.

You will manage and deliver a varied programme of online and face-to-face events for the English Divisions, travelling across England as required. You should have experience in medical education events and in working within a membership organisation, building

Divisions Events Manager (Maternity Cover)

£45,814 - £51,591 pa plus excellent benefits

London and hybrid working

35 hours per week, full-time, fixed term (maternity cover) contract

The College is seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to manage and deliver a varied programme of events for the English Divisions of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Reporting to the Head of Divisions, and working with an experienced team of staff and members, you should be a team-player with excellent communication skills who is able to deliver a range of online and face-to- face events across England.

You will have a solid understanding of medical education events and will have experience of working in a membership organisation. You will be adept at building strong working relationships with members to produce events, as well as promoting the continuing engagement of the membership at a local level.

We need a flexible and confident individual to join our team who can hit the ground running and who will enjoy the variety promised by this role. The role entails regular travel across England with the need for occasional overnight stays.
