Job description
Divisional Personal Assistant – Acute Care Division

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Divisional Personal Assistant to join the Acute Care Division.

The postholder will provide personal assistant support to the Acute Care Division Senior Leadership Team which includes the Director of Operations, Director of Nursing, and the Divisional Clinical Director, ensuring efficiency via proactive liaison with internal colleagues and external bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Line management of secretarial and administration staff within the Acute Care Division (ACD) Management Team
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes and circulate relevant documents for Acute Care Division meetings
  • Provide comprehensive support for the ACD Management Team, including briefing on relevant incoming mail and facilitating necessary (confidential) responses
  • Ensure the ACD Management Team are comprehensively prepared for all forthcoming meetings
  • Carry out a full range of Personal Assistant duties
  • Prepare presentations using appropriate media, including PowerPoint
  • Maintain electronic diaries via liaison with relevant parties, ensuring effective management of the ACD Management Team’s time
  • Carry out appropriate and efficient housekeeping
