Pacific Life Re Limited is seeking a Model Risk Actuary, Divisional to join the Model Risk Management (MRM) team. You will validate actuarial models, review governance and controls, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

The role involves working across Reporting, Pricing, R&D, Capital Management, and Underwriting on diverse modelling platforms. You will lead complex reviews, collaborate with model owners, and drive continuous improvements to modelling practices across the organisation.

Formación

• Qualified Actuary with experience in actuarial modelling and risk oversight.
• Experience in model validation or risk oversight.
• Good knowledge of actuarial modelling software.
• Understanding of life insurance and reinsurance industry.
• Ability to challenge methodologies and explain evidence-based views.
• Excellent report writing and communication with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead complex reviews and manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Independently scope, plan and deliver model risk reviews under PL’s MRM Framework.
• Develop and defend review conclusions and remediation monitoring.
• Present findings clearly to model owners, senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Drive governance and process improvements across modelling activities.
• Coordinate input from reviewers and stakeholders and mentor juniors.
