Job summary

Vesta Software Group UK is seeking a Divisional Finance Manager to lead the finance function across our UK portfolio, reporting to the Head of Finance (UK), based in Wallingford. You will own management accounting, financial reporting and controls for multiple group companies, driving performance in a high-growth environment.

You will line-manage the Management Accountant team, mentor staff, and deliver timely monthly accounts while identifying variances and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong accounting fundamentals.
• Proven track record building and leading high-performing finance teams.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and ability to interpret financial data for non-financial managers.

Responsibilities

• Line manage the Management Accountant team and develop staff.
• Produce timely monthly management accounts for portfolio companies.
• Lead process improvements and system enhancements across finance.
• Support quarterly strategic reviews and forecasting for the group.
• Prepare VAT returns and corporate tax packs; partner with business heads.
