Origin is seeking a Distribution Supervisor in the United Kingdom to lead the distribution team, ensuring orders are complete and ready for dispatch, while maintaining high quality before loading. The role supports cross-site movement and overseas shipments, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will oversee drivers, stock locations and documentation, promote a safe work environment, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role.
• Experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution environment.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident leading and motivating a team.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Team management qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and supporting the Distribution team to achieve daily targets.
• Ensuring customer orders are complete, accurate and ready for dispatch on time.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products are free from damage or defects before loading.
• Coordinating the movement of products between our sites and preparing overseas shipments.
• Supporting drivers and customers with loading and collections when required.
• Monitoring stock locations and investigating any missing items.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
• Promoting a safe working environment and ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Investigating service issues and working with the team to prevent repeat problems.
• Carrying out team meetings, appraisals and supporting training and development.

Rotating Shift Pattern: 6:00am–2:30pm | 1:35pm–10:00pm

What you'll be doing:
