Job summary

Origin Global is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead the Distribution team in ensuring orders are ready for dispatch and to coordinate movements between sites. You will drive daily targets, support drivers and contribute to a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

The role requires at least two years in a supervisory capacity within warehousing or logistics, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage under pressure with a positive attitude.

• Two years of supervisory or team-leader experience in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Experience working in warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution settings.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident in leading and motivating a team.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
• Flexible, reliable and positive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the Distribution team to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure customer orders are complete, accurate and ready for dispatch on time.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products are free from damage or defects before loading.
• Coordinate movement of products between sites and prepare overseas shipments.
• Support drivers and customers with loading and collections when required.
• Monitor stock locations and investigate missing items.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure documentation is completed correctly.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Investigate service issues and work with the team to prevent repeat problems.
• Carry out team meetings, appraisals and support training and development.

We are on the lookout for a Distribution Supervisor to lead by example in maintaining Origin’s continued excellence in transporting and checking customer orders ensuring all items are ready and in full for the loading team. Rotating Shift Pattern: 6:00am–2:30pm | 2:45pm–11:15pm

What you'll be doing:

• Leading, motivating and supporting the Distribution team to achieve daily targets.
