Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Distribution Operative in Ashford, England. In this role, you will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished products. We're looking for candidates with strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a Full Counterbalance FLT Licence. This is a temporary role starting immediately, offering Monday to Friday shifts with rotating hours.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics or warehouse environments is a plus.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Managing warehouse inventory
  • Following company policies and health & safety regulations
  • Ensuring safe movement of raw materials using FLT Counterbalance
  • Maintaining safety standards
  • Goods receipting, booking in and sampling Raw Materials
  • Loading/Unloading Raw Materials ready for distribution

Skills

Strong Attention to Detail

Basic PC skills

Manpower is currently recruiting for a Distribution Operative working for one of manufacturing clients based in Ashford, Kent

Working Hours Monday - Friday 06 : 00 Am - 14.00 & 08 : 00 - 16 : 00 on weekly rotation.

Join a world leader in the fragrance and flavour industry as a Distribution Operative! In this role, you will manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished products. You'll ensure smooth warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to a safe working environment. We're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, experience in logistics or warehouse environments, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing warehouse inventory
  • Following company policies and procedures in accordance with health & safety regulations
  • Ensuring raw materials are moved around site safely using FLT Counterbalance
  • Maintaining safety standards
  • Goods receipting, booking in and sampling of Raw Materials
  • Loading / Unloading Raw Materials ready for distribution
What we are looking for
