Overview

This role sits at the heart of the Distribution and Marketing Directorate, providing key support to the Distribution and Marketing Director and wider leadership team to help drive progress on our strategic priorities, ensure alignment across our teams and support the smooth running of the Directorate. You'll engage on day-to-day matters, strategic initiatives and key projects, coordinating across AXA Health and AXA UK&I. You'll coordinate and provide timely reporting and analysis to facilitate informed decision making and direction on business activity. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you'll be doing
  • Deliver solutions to ad-hoc tasks and projects delegated by the Distribution and Marketing Director and Head of Distribution Improvement and Transformation, coordinating across AXA Health and AXA UK&I; report progress and consider internal/external market factors.
  • Participate in and coordinate key strategic business initiatives and programmes within Distribution (e.g., Operating Model reviews, supporting business strategy and distribution-wide initiatives).
  • Hold and manage the communication and engagement plan for the function.
  • Establish and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders within AXA Health, AXA UK&I and other entities.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and high-quality presentations and board updates, helping to interpret financials and performance trends and supporting the Distribution and Marketing Senior Leadership Team with data-driven decision making.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, preparing and helping ensure we stay focused on the right priorities.
  • Monitor progress against Distribution and Marketing strategic commitments, highlighting risks and opportunities to drive success.
  • Support prioritisation of commitments for the Distribution and Marketing Director, delegating activities to direct reports where necessary or acting on their behalf.
  • Liaising across multiple teams to ensure information, decisions and initiatives flow smoothly between Distribution and Marketing, Product and Proposition, Transformation, COO and Pricing and Finance and any relevant Committees.
  • Preparing narratives for updates, blogs and wider communications across the organisation.

  • A high level of initiative, self-motivation and personal organisation
  • Ability to rapidly understand, assimilate, analyse and make recommendations from business and financial information
  • Expertise in report writing and creating clear, engaging PowerPoint material alongside capability in Excel, Data and utilising AI
