The business is expanding its strategic broker partnerships and client proposition across the UK and Europe, and are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to help drive this growth.
This global specialty Insurer with offices across Europe, including London, Dublin, Manchester are known for leading on complex, cross-class risks and offering tailored portfolio solutions, the company operates with a strong underwriting-first philosophy. It has a growing presence in the UK commercial space and is building out its client proposition to complement its established broker relationships.
Reporting into the European Chief Underwriting Officer, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen broker relationships across all lines of business. This is not a traditional sales role it’s about strategic engagement, partnership development, and enabling profitable underwriting.
They are looking for a confident and engaging Relationship Manager with strong stakeholder management skills who is looking to make a real difference within this growing business.
You will need to have experience in business development, broker management, or strategic distribution within insurance this can be from either an Insurer, Broker or MGA. You will be comfortable navigating complex underwriting environments and cross-class portfolios. Your location can be flexible however you must be comfortable with being able to work from London with regular travel to Manchester and occasional European offices.
