A leading multinational company in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Distribution Sales Manager to drive sales growth and manage distributor relationships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in sales management, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of achieving results. Responsibilities include co-ordinating sales strategies, reporting key data, and supporting strategic projects. A degree-level education is preferred, along with proficiency in tools like Salesforce and Power BI.
Reporting to the UK & IE Country Sales Director, this exciting opportunity will suit a proactive candidate with solid management experience who can demonstrate a successful track record of delivering results in previous roles both individually and with teams, intent on introducing, retaining, and growing the business.
Key assets for the role include exceptional selling, negotiating and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, problem solving, coaching and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for team management, distribution sales targets, management of existing distributors, the acquisition of new customers, new sales, follow-up on individual contracts, pricing adjustments and the implementation of contracts in co-ordination with the Country Sales Director. A commercial mindset with excellent presentation, communication and listening skills is required.
