Job summary

Warburtons Bellshill Bakery is recruiting a Distribution Coordinator to support our Distribution office and ensure timely delivery of products across Scotland. This weekend-only, full-time role offers training, a friendly team, and opportunities to develop within a busy FMCG environment.

You will assist Transport Shift Managers, upload driver and vehicle records, manage driver rotas and orders for fuel, lubricants and office supplies, and respond to telephone queries.

• Organisational skills.
• Build great working relationships quickly with our teams, contractors and service providers.
• Able to work on your own initiative.
• Knowledge of Goods vehicle operator licensing requirements (training provided).

The Recipe

We have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinators to join our Distribution team at Bellshill on a full time basis covering the weekend only.

As part of the team you will form an integral part of our family to enable our distribution teams to deliver our great quality products, however, you don’t need to have a distribution background, as full training will be provided.

Here at Bellshill, we’re proud to be delivering customers our fresh bakery products direct to stores across Scotland and beyond.

You will support the Transport Shift Managers, ensuring all administrative tasks are complete in a timely and accurate manner to meet internal and external customer needs. The main responsibilities of the position include:

Bellshill Bakery is ideally located between Glasgow and Edinburgh and is proud to be Warburtons’ Scottish only Manufacturing site. Home to nearly 300 colleagues across a range of shift patterns, our site operates two bread plants and produces some of the nation’s favourite products, including Milk Roll, Seven Seeds and Seeded Farmhouse. In total, we produce approximately 1.3 million units every week.
