Job summary

Acquire Me is expanding its quantitative research infrastructure in London. You will design and build distributed systems, data and compute platforms to accelerate backtesting and idea validation for trading strategies.

You will work closely with researchers to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable, robust solutions, with a focus on performance and correctness in a fast-moving financial environment.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals and production systems experience.
• Experience with distributed systems, large-scale data or compute infrastructure.
• Interest in solving performance-sensitive engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Build distributed systems and infrastructure for large-scale quantitative research.
• Increase speed and scale of experimentation and backtesting.
• Improve accuracy, reliability and reproducibility of research workflows.
• Build systems for processing and analyzing large volumes of financial data.
• Collaborate with researchers to identify bottlenecks and engineer solutions.
• Help shorten the cycle from research idea to live trading strategy.
