Job summary

A consulting firm in Bristol is seeking a Disrepair Surveyor for an initial 6-month contract. The role involves conducting disrepair surveys and generating comprehensive reports for stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in repairs and maintenance, knowledge of the Housing Disrepair protocol, and excellent communication skills. A construction degree is preferred. This position is in scope of IR35.

Job description

Our client is currently recruiting for a Disrepair Surveyor to join their team on an initial 6 month basis.

The role will entail carrying out disrepair surveys and writing full reports on the findings to present to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will ideally have;

* Substantial experience of repairs and maintenance service delivery, sustainability / construction and contract administration at a senior level

* Proven working knowledge of the Housing Disrepair protocol

* A Strong understanding of landlord/tenant matters, leaseholder consultation requirements and contract dispute and resolution

* Excellent communication skills - from writing reports to answering any queries

We are ideally looking for someone with a construction degree, in either CIOB or RICS.
