Job description
Overview

We're looking for a Disrepair Supervisor to join our Responsive Maintenance division, working out of our Walton-on-Thames office. You'll be supporting one of our social housing contracts, delivering reactive and some planned maintenance services to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery through effective work scheduling aligned with company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
  • Represent WPS at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Manage the responsive repairs function to consistently meet performance targets.
  • Monitor and manage material costs, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures.
  • Oversee quality of work via inspections, KPIs, and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Lead and develop your team, ensuring optimal staffing levels to meet service demands.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • SSSTS qualification (minimum requirement)
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or housing disrepair
  • Strong supervision and leadership skills
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation and social housing regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to problem‑solve, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
