Location: Telford Area
Salary: Competitive, up to £32,000 (DOE) + £5,000 Bonus
Hours: Full-Time (9:00 am – 5:30 pm, including one weekend day)

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Optical Practice Manager, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a team of dispensing opticians, ensuring high performance and excellent patient care.
  • Manage the dispensing operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and patients receive top-quality service.
  • Identify areas for team improvement and create targeted plans for development.
  • Dispense regularly, setting a high standard for the team with your clinical expertise.
  • Oversee training and development, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in optics, ideally at Assistant Manager or Practice Manager level.
  • Leadership Skills: Confident, approachable, and able to train, delegate, and manage effectively.
  • Optical Expertise: Strong dispensing knowledge, frame and lens expertise, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Qualifications: Preferably GOC-registered Dispensing Optician with up-to-date CET points.
