Job summary

Boots Opticians in Sutton seeks a qualified Dispensing Optician to deliver expert advice and high levels of customer care in-store, reporting to the Store Manager. You will provide clinical support for regulated dispensing, share knowledge with the Optical team, guide customers in eyewear choices, and help the store run efficiently while staying compliant with regulations.

Qualifications

• Registered with the GOC as a Dispensing Optician.
• CPD training completed as part of GOC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support in store for regulated dispensing.

What you’ll be doing

As a qualified Dispensing Optician, you will be providing a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores, reporting to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing
• Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service
• Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice
• Helping customers choose the correct eyewear and provide guidance to ensure the best product suited to their needs
• Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure the business trades legally
• Providing expert knowledge for patients with more specialist requirements

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
• Passion for your own learning and development, completing all CPD training as part of the GOC requirement
