Job summary

Specsavers in Harpenden is seeking a qualified Dispensing Optician to join a warm, patient-focused store environment. You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding care, supporting a close-knit team, and contributing to a high-standard clinical practice.

The role offers a salary up to £36,000 depending on experience, with a generous joining bonus, and comprehensive professional development opportunities. GOC and College fees are paid, plus additional employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician.
• Experience in optical retail is beneficial.
• Strong patient-care focus and clinical judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and dispensing advice to customers.
• Work closely with the store team to deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold regulatory compliance.
