Specsavers Islington is recruiting a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our team. Whether you’re just qualified or experienced, you’ll deliver excellent customer care, accurate dispensing, and strong clinical judgment in a busy store.

We offer training and development, a supportive team, and benefits including a salary of £35,000–£37,000 on experience, four or five days a week including Saturdays, birthday off and our pension auto-enrolment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician.
• Strong customer care and clinical judgment.
• Willingness to work four or five days including Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Dispense ophthalmic prescriptions and provide exceptional customer care.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high clinical standards.

Our Islington store hosts 4 optics sight test rooms and offers a variety of clinical services to our patients.

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician, we are searching for someone who shares our store’s ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands‑on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we’re looking for a skilled Dispensing Optician to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.
