Job summary

A local pharmacy in Caerphilly is seeking a Dispensary Counter Assistant to support the Pharmacist in sales of over-the-counter medicines and assist customers with advice. Responsibilities include replenishing stock and promoting additional services. Enrollment in the Buttercups Dispensing Assistant Level 2 course is required. Previous customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled onto Buttercups Dispensing Assistant Level 2 course.
• Experience in customer service and over-the-counter sales is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist under the Pharmacist supervision in sales of over the counter medicines.
• Provide advice to customers on symptoms and products.
• Replenish stock and support the pharmacy team.

Job description

You will be enrolled onto Buttercups Dispensing Assistant Level 2 course.

As a Dispensary Counter Assistant you will work under the Pharmacist supervision and will assist with the sales of over the counter medicines, offering advice to customers on the provision of information, symptoms and products as well promoting the additional services that our branch offers. You will also be tasked with replenishing stock and supporting the pharmacy team.
