Job summary

A logistics company in Fareham is seeking a highly organised Dispatch Coordinator to ensure that products are shipped on time and in perfect condition. The ideal candidate will manage daily dispatch operations, coordinate with internal teams, and prepare necessary documentation. Previous dispatch experience and familiarity with MRP systems are essential. This role offers a pay rate of £13.50 per hour (PAYE) or £18.01 per hour (Umbrella) with hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dispatch environment.
• Familiarity with work orders, sales orders, and MRP systems.
• Experience raising shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise daily dispatch operations to meet shipping deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely product availability.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation and MRP records.
• Arrange UK and international shipments, including courier bookings and local deliveries.
• Monitor packaging materials and consumables, obtaining quotes when needed.
• Resolve customs/export issues and maintain high standards in the dispatch area.
