Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking a motivated Trader to join our client's growing trading teams in the UK.

You will work closely with senior traders, portfolio managers and researchers to identify trading opportunities, monitor portfolio risk and execute trades across multiple markets.

A strong quantitative background with genuine interest in financial markets, plus good communication and teamwork, is preferred; Python experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor discretionary trading portfolios, including hedging and position maintenance.
• Analyse market news, events and price movements to identify potential trading opportunities.
• Develop new trade ideas and work on strategies solo and with the team.
• Monitor portfolio performance and risk.
• Execute trades, including larger or more complex transactions.
• Use internal research tools, market data and external research to support investment decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across trading, research and other teams.
