Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in empowering individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities to live independently and with dignity. This role offers the chance to build meaningful relationships and contribute to the well‑being and personal development of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to individuals with disabilities in their daily activities.
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication needs.
  • Encourage independence and participation in community and social activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other support staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach to support work.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are advantageous but not essential.

To work as a Disability Support Worker, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Provide an up‑to‑date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
  • Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
