A major NHS healthcare provider in Greater Manchester seeks an experienced Rota Co-ordinator to ensure effective staffing across Orthopaedics and Vascular services. Responsibilities include managing medical rotas, supporting job planning, and coordinating junior medical staff induction and recruitment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Rota Co-ordinator to join us. You will work closely with Directorate Managers and Clinical Directors to support in safely staffing across Orthopaedics and Vascular services. The post requires the holder to develop in-depth experience of managing the deployment of medical staff to support the correct functions within the designated speciality. The post holder will be responsible for the overall management and control of the rotas for the designated speciality, ensuring the required level of cover and productivity is achieved. The rota's span 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The post holder will be required to gain in-depth experience of clinical needs to ensure the rota's are accurate at all times. The post holder will also work closely with the Directorate Support Manager, supporting with RTT, Validation, Theatre and Clinic utilisation, in-patient and out-patient management and other aspects to gain in‑site and knowledge of a DSM role.
