Job summary

AZTRUM, an environmental consultancy based in Oxford, is seeking a Director of Storm and Wastewater to lead a team of engineers and modellers. You will oversee Flood Risk, Drainage, and Wastewater Modelling projects for water companies across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The role requires a strong academic background in Civil/Environmental Engineering, plus extensive UK consultancy experience and leadership skills. Hybrid or remote working options are available.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with UK-based environmental consultancy projects.
• Experience in Wastewater modelling and Infoworks ICM.
• CSO design and Flood Risk Assessments for sewers.
• Management, project management and business development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
• Drainage Area Planning and flood alleviation schemes for sewers.
• Optioneering and solution development for wastewater networks.
• CSO design and network design guidance.
• Hydraulic modelling, model build and verification using Infoworks ICM.
• Mentor team members and manage client progress.
