Capgemini Invent is seeking a Director for Secure Government to lead national security programmes across London, Manchester and Cheltenham. You will shape strategy, drive complex transformations and build trusted client relationships while leveraging Capgemini’s cross‑group capabilities.
You will own business development with evidence of strong commercial acumen, coach senior colleagues, and collaborate with colleagues in design, data, strategy, and analytics.
At Capgemini Invent, we believe difference drives change. As inventive transformation consultants, we blend our strategic, creative and scientific capabilities, collaborating closely with clients to deliver cutting‑edge solutions. Join us to drive transformation tailored to our client's challenges of today and tomorrow. Informed and validated by science and data. Superpowered by creativity and design. All underpinned by technology created with purpose.
As part of our growth agenda, we are seeking an additional Director in National Security.
We want you to bring your exceptional sector expertise to assist the growth of our ambition to be the National Security partner of choice. We are passionate about helping our clients to deliver sustainable, innovative change that makes a meaningful difference.
We will need you to autonomously scope and lead complex programmes for our clients, have proven success in business development with evidence of strong commercial acumen, actively contribute to internal initiatives and develop our team from a skills, experience, and capability perspective. While working in a supportive team environment, you will have the confidence and experience to drive our business development activities.
As part of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be a coach and role‑model to colleagues across the UK. You will be working directly with your fellow leadership team to deliver excellence for our clients. There is also the opportunity to work with colleagues from across the Capgemini Group to leverage our combined capabilities and expertise to the benefit of our clients – we often look to synergise our technical expertise (for example, digital and analytics) with the deep sector expertise held in the Public Sector.
As Director, you help set the direction to drive forward our National Security business, model our values and behaviours, and train, coach and mentor junior members of the team.
We’re also focused on using tech to have a positive social impact. So, we’re working to reduce our own carbon footprint and improve everyone’s access to a digital world. It’s something we’re really serious about. In fact, we were even named as one of the world’s most ethical companies by the Ethisphere Institute for the 10th year. When you join Capgemini, you’ll join a team that does the right thing.
Whilst you will have London, Manchester or Cheltenham as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.
We offer a remuneration package which includes flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances and a variable element dependent grade and on company and personal performance.
