Job summary

GMP Recruitment, partnering with a leading international advisory firm, seeks a Director for its Manchester Restructuring Advisory practice. The role offers ownership of engagements and significant leadership responsibility across the UK, with a focus on non-formal restructuring and advisory work.

You will originate and deliver engagements, supervise and develop juniors, and engage with corporates, lenders and sponsors. Strong client management and a robust network are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant restructuring and financial advisory experience.
• Experience taking assignments from origination through to completion.
• Strong financial analysis, cash-flow and forecasting capabilities.
• Commercial awareness around engagement economics, recoveries and billings.
• A demonstrable network and appetite for business development.

Responsibilities

• Own restructuring engagements from client conversation to delivery and review.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Prepare IBRs, cash-flow modelling, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Support debt refinancing and lender negotiations.
• Contribute to pitches, tenders and lender panels.
• Build relationships across the regional market and with stakeholders.
