About the Team

Our Human Resources Department supports our wider organisation of circa 340 staff in ensuring we deliver against both our statutory objectives and our People Strategy by ensuring we attract, recruit, retain and develop bright and brilliant colleagues.

What will the postholder be doing?

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly experienced Human Resources expert to join Ofqual as the Director of People and Culture.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance and Operations and working closely with the Executive Team and the Chief Regulator, you will lead our expert Human Resources team in developing a brilliant people offer and service.

You will be highly skilled at influencing and inspiring individuals at all levels with a real appetite for staff development, equality, diversity and inclusion alongside the ability to evolve and deliver our People Strategy.

To be successful in this role you will be a highly experienced people leader able to build collaborative relationships across both internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of positive results. A proven track record of working across complex, competing, and high-profile priorities is also essential.
