Job summary

The University of Warwick’s School of Engineering invites applications for the Director of Student Projects, a permanent, teaching‑focussed Assistant or Associate Professor role. Located at the Coventry campus, the post leads a portfolio of student projects across undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes and involves industry engagement to ensure real‑world application of learning.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification in a relevant field.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality undergraduate teaching with emphasis on innovation.
• Strong understanding of assessment and curriculum design for undergraduate and taught postgraduate Engineering courses.
• Experience leading/supervising a variety of projects and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of project modules across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry and external partners to create project opportunities.
• Coordinate project delivery, from allocation and induction to supervision, assessment and completion.
• Contribute to module teaching and engage with School activities including evenings/weekends.
