The Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy of a well-established 4-star hotel in Derby. This is a senior leadership position for a commercially astute hotel sales professional who can drive revenue growth across corporate accounts, meetings and events, and new business development, while positioning the hotel strongly within the local and regional market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver the hotel's Sales & Marketing strategy, setting clear direction to maximise total revenue and market share.
  • Drive growth across key corporate accounts, meetings & events, and transient business, while actively developing new revenue streams.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team, creating a high-performance culture focused on results, accountability, and professional development.
  • Ensure the effective execution of all proactive sales initiatives, supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the sales function.
